A MILD FINISH TO THE WEEK…
We saw our afternoon temperatures jump from the mid 30s Tuesday all the way into the lower 50s yesterday with ample sun and a breezy southwest wind. The milder temperatures continue today with readings once again topping out in the lower 50s under plenty of sunshine. It gets even warmer Friday – close to 60 degrees in fact – with more sunshine along with a southwest wind.
RAIN FOR THE WEEKEND?
The mild air hangs around into our Saturday with just a slight cooldown expected late in the weekend. A weak disturbance cutting across the Deep South will spread some clouds into our region, but there’s only a slim chance for a few sprinkles Saturday. Otherwise, we’re dry until next Wednesday when a better chance for rain shows up. Temperatures will remain a bit above early January averages next week, with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
