WARM THURSDAY, STORMY THURSDAY NIGHT:
We’ll start dry today with a mix of sun and clouds. A breezy southwest wind – gusting 20-30 mph – will help temps warm into the lower 70s making it our warmest day of the year so far! However, a cold front advancing out of the Midwest late in the afternoon moves into our region tonight. This likely brings with it a round of showers and thunderstorms, a few of which could be severe with locally damaging winds the main threat along with potential for hail and an isolated tornado. A SLIGHT RISK of severe weather is in place for the entire area for primarily late this afternoon and tonight.

WEEKEND STARTS CHILLY…:
Colder air pours in behind our Thursday night system. We’ll keep clouds around Friday along with a chance for some lingering showers before everyone dries out Saturday and more sun returns. Saturday will be quite cold, with highs only in the 40s.

ANOTHER WARMUP
Readings rebound early next week, with highs back into the upper 50s Sunday and into the 60s Monday. More chances for rain are in the forecast each day Monday through Wednesday, with cooler temperatures showing up by midweek.

TONIGHT:
