Warming Up!
NOWCAST:
We’ll start with a clear sky this morning along with areas of frost.
A FROSTY START…
After a cooler Wednesday, temperatures dipped to the freezing mark early this morning allowing for some patchy frost across the region. A warming trend gets underway today with highs bouncing back into the lower 60s under a mostly sunny sky. It will be chilly but not as cold tonight with lows in the upper 30s before the warmup resumes under a mix of sun and clouds Friday. Highs should warm back into the low 70s to finish out the week.
WARMER BUT EVENTUALLY WETTER…
We will see readings warm back to above normal levels Saturday through Tuesday. The weekend appears dry before our next weathermaker arrives late Monday into Tuesday with a good chance for showers and thunderstorms. This is followed by a cooldown for Wednesday.
