Much Needed Rain On The Way
NOWCAST:
We’ll see a partly cloudy sky this morning with temperatures in the low to mid 40s with a light wind.
WARMER, BUT WETTER…
We will see a few more clouds today just ahead of a warm front that will move in bringing a more southerly flow and a chance of showers. It will be breezy again today but winds won’t be quite as gusty as they were Monday afternoon. Temperatures will quickly rise from the mid 60s today into the mid 70s by Wednesday. A frontal boundary will stall over the area bringing a good chance of showers and thunderstorms – and much needed rainfall – especially Wednesday night and Thursday. There is a SLIGHT RISK we could see a few strong to severe storms Wednesday afternoon that may produce large hail.
UNSETTLED WEEKEND…
With the frontal boundary stalled over the area, a chance of showers and thunderstorms will remain for the remainder of the work week and through the upcoming weekend with seasonable temperatures in the 60s and 70s.
