Getting Warmer
NOWCAST:
A mainly clear sky this morning with a few areas of patchy fog.
STAYING WARM:
The 80s returned to much of the area Tuesday courtesy of more sunshine. A few isolated showers fired up along a weak boundary Tuesday afternoon – we may see a few isolated showers this evening as a weak cold front dives down from the Midwest. Any rain should stay widely scattered with generally light amounts. Many areas won’t see any rain at all. We’ll remain warm today with highs in the lower 80s under a mix of sun and clouds. Look for fair skies Thursday and Friday, with highs climbing into the mid 80s to close out the work week.
SUMMER PREVIEW FOR THE WEEKEND:
It will be quite warm Saturday and Sunday under a mix of sun and clouds. Highs remain in the mid 80s both weekend days with milder lows in the 60s.
STORMS FOR EARLY NEXT WEEK?
All signs point to the arrival of another weather maker Monday into Tuesday that could bring us showers and thunderstorms. Afternoon readings slip a bit into the low 80s with lows remaining in the 60s.
