Mainly cloudy this morning with a few scattered showers and thunderstorms.
UNSETTLED START TO THE WEEK:
We’ll see a mostly cloudy sky with scattered thunderstorms, especially late in the day as a cold front moves through the region. The increase in clouds will keep temperatures cooler in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Scattered rain chances may hang around through Tuesday afternoon – especially east of I-65. After that, high pressure returns to the region with a mostly sunny and warm rest of the work week with an outside chance of a shower and highs in the 80s.
HOT HOLIDAY WEEKEND?:
As of right now, Memorial Day weekend is looking quite toasty with plenty of sunshine and afternoon highs in the low 90s! There maybe an outside chance of a pop-up storm or two but most outdoor activities look to be met with Summer-like heat and humidity.
