Warming Into The Weekend
NOWCAST:
Partly cloudy this morning along with a few areas of patchy fog which may freeze on surfaces causing a few icy spots.
JUST LIKE JANUARY:
Despite some afternoon sun, readings struggled to warm above the freezing mark in Bowling Green Wednesday afternoon. We won’t be much warmer today or Friday, even with a little more sunshine than on Wednesday. Highs climb into the upper 30s to near 40° today and again on Friday. A very weak cold front clips across Kentucky tonight with little more than clouds and a slight wind shift. Lows will remain in the 20s the next two nights.
WARMING UP:
Afternoon highs climb back into the 40s Saturday and Sunday with a mix of sun and clouds both days. A weak disturbance moves through the Ohio Valley Saturday night which may bring a chance of snow showers to the northern section of the WBKO viewing area but its ultimate track and remains in question. Quiet weather continues into early next week with southwest winds warming us to near 50° Monday and into the lower 50s Tuesday and Wednesday.
TODAY:
Mostly Sunny, a bit Warmer…High 39, winds NW-7
TONIGHT:
Partly Cloudy and Cold…Low 21, winds NW-7
FRIDAY:
Mostly Sunny, Continued Chilly…High 38, winds W-7

A warming trend is VERY welcome!!!
