Mainly cloudy this morning. Temps will rise from the humid mid 60s to near 74° by 10am and around 77° by noon. A few isolated showers are possible sometime after midday.
SMALL SHOT AT RAIN:
Showers and thunderstorms will far far less numerous heading into today as a cold front moves east. There remains a slight chance for an isolated shower or thundershower this afternoon into the evening, however. We’ll see mainly cloudy skies otherwise with highs reaching the upper 70s. Any isolated thundershowers this evening will end with skies partly cloudy overnight. Lows will drop into the lower 60s.
Saturday looks dry with partly sunny skies and pleasantly warm temperatures. Expect an increase in cloudiness late Sunday, however, as another system heads our way. By Sunday evening, there will be a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Sunday looks to be the warmer and more humid of the two weekend days, with highs climbing back into the upper 80s.
SUMMER-LIKE NEXT WEEK:
Very warm and humid conditions will dominate next week, with most days containing slight chances for mostly pop-up thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Expect highs in the mid to upper 80s with lows in the mid to upper 60s.
