A Breath Of Fresh Air (No Sharknados)

Sharknado

Just in case you were wondering, there are no Sharknado Warnings in effect. I’ve already been asked if something like the SyFy Channel movie could actually happen…very doubtful. It’s science fiction kitsch and that’s all.

MORNING NOWCAST:
Clear and comfortable this morning with temperatures starting in the 60s rising to near 74° by 10am and around 82° by noon.

FANTASTIC FRIDAY:
Less humid air is now settling into South-Central KY, which will help make for a gorgeous finish to our week. With lots of sunshine, highs will climb into the mid 80s, several degrees cooler than average for this time of year. It will be a great evening in downtown Bowling Green for the Duncan Hines Fest, with clear skies and comfortable readings. Lows will drop into the lower 60s, with a few upper 50s possible in rural sections.

WEEKEND WARMING:
Our weekend looks good overall. Saturday looks dry, although moisture returning could bring us late day chances for a few pop-up thunderstorms. Highs climb back into the upper 80s with lows in the mid 60s.

HEAT AND HUMIDITY RETURN:
It will feel more like the “Dog Days of Summer” once again next week. Daytime highs will top out near 90° each day with higher humidity making a return. Small chances for mainly late day hit-or-miss thunderstorms will be part of the forecast most days. Lows at night will be more seasonably warm and muggy, bottoming out only in the low 70s.
