Mainly clear to partly cloudy this morning with temperatures starting in the 70s rising to near 85° at 10am and around 90° by noon.
HOT AND HUMID:
Today looks to be a scorcher as high pressure remains in control. This will give us highs in the low 90s and with the humidity it will feel like triple digits for many in the Bluegrass. Partly cloudy for most of the day, with clouds burning off as the sun sets. Tonight is expected to be calm but muggy as temperatures will be in the low 70s.
As we move through the week, the high pressure system will push into the Great Plains region allowing for rain to return to our area. The second half of the week is shaping up to be hot and humid with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid 90s, with lows in the mid 70s. Look for better chances of rain on Saturday and Sunday as a weak cold front passes through. Weekend highs in the upper 80s.
