MORNING NOWCAST:
Partly cloudy this morning with a few areas of patchy fog near area rivers and lakes. Temperatures will start near record lows in the 50s and warm to near 70° by 10am and around 78° by noon under a mostly sunny sky.

IS IT JULY?
Our weekend of unseasonably cool temperatures will extend into the first part of the work week with temperatures in the low 80s today under mostly sunny skies. Tonight will see increasing clouds ahead of an approaching storm system with lows dropping near 60°.

RAIN CHANCES RETURN:
Tuesday and Wednesday will hold our next chances for showers and thunderstorms as another rain maker enters the region. Rain and thunderstorms will be possible for everyone, and some rain could be heavy. Daytime high temperatures will remain in the low 80s with overnight lows in the upper 60s. Some spots could see 1-2 inches of rain before ending early Thursday.

AUGUST STARTS:
Southerly breezes return along with a little more heat and humidity as the new month begins. Expect daytime temperatures in the mid and upper 80s to almost 90° by Saturday but dropping back into the low to mid 80s with a chance of showers Sunday.
