Periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms with intense lightning and torrential downpours will continue through the morning. This may cause standing water on area roadways and localized flash flooding. Please use caution while driving!
A TRAIN OF RAIN:
Through the next two days we will see periods of scattered rain and thunderstorms as we continue to be stuck in an unsettled weather pattern. We will continue to be warm and muggy with storms capable of drenching rains. Flooding will be the main concerns over the next 48 hours, so remember to practice safety around flood waters and remember to turn around, don’t drown. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s during the day with overnight lows in the lower 70s.
