Scattered rain chances return late Friday into Saturday as a disturbance approaches from our southeast.

MORNING NOWCAST:
Mainly clear with a few high clouds this morning and cool readings in the low to mid 50s. Temperatures will rise to near 65° by 10am and around 75° by noon.

BONUS AUGUST WEATHER:
After an unseasonably cool start this morning, it will be pleasant today with lots of sun and humidity levels remaining fairly low and comfortable. Highs will top out around 80°. We won’t be as cool tonight due to added cloud cover, but it will remain comfortable with lows in the upper 50s to near 60. The return of some moisture Friday could bring about an isolated late-day thundershower, but many areas remain dry. Highs will reach the low to mid 80s.

WARMER, MORE HUMID FOR THE WEEKEND:
Our weather will start feeling more like August again over the weekend into next week. Warmer and muggier air will lead to small daily chances for isolated to scattered showers and storms through the period. Highs over the weekend will reach the lower 80s. By the middle of next week, we should see daytime and nighttime readings climb back to near seasonal levels.

TODAY:
Mostly Sunny, Warmer…High 81, winds NE-6

TONIGHT:
Partly Cloudy, Not As Cool…Low 60, winds Calm

FRIDAY:
Mostly Sunny, Even Warmer…High 84, winds E-6
