Temperatures are forecast to warm closer to seasonal average (89°) toward late week and the upcoming weekend.

MORNING NOWCAST:
Clear to partly cloudy this morning with areas of patchy fog. We will start with temperatures in the 60s but rising to near 75° by 10am and around 82° by noon. An isolated shower is also possible as the morning continues.

STILL SOMEWHAT UNSETTLED:
There will be little change in our weather pattern through midweek. We’ll continue with partly cloudy skies and small chances for isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will reach the mid 80s with lows in the mid 60s.

HEAT RETURNS:
We have not seen the 90° mark in Bowling Green since July 20th, but that could change this weekend. High pressure building over the region will snuff out rain chances and bring in more heat. Highs should climb to near 90° with warm and muggier overnight lows in the upper 60s to near 70°.
