Predictive radar shows more scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible over Southern Kentucky today.

MORNING NOWCAST:
Partly cloudy to mainly clear this morning with a chance for an isolated shower or two. Temperatures will start mainly in the 60s and rise to near 82° by 10am and around 84° by noon.

MORE POSSIBILITIES FOR RAIN:
A slow-moving upper air disturbance helped kick off some scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday with a few containing heavy rain. Look for this pattern to repeat itself today with warm and humid conditions. Just as we’ve seen so far this week, not everyone will see rain, but isolated to scattered thunderstorms remain possible both today and again Thursday. Highs should reach the mid 80s with lows in the mid to upper 60s through midweek.

90s COMING BACK?:
A ridge of high pressure is expected to expand eastward over the weekend into next week. This will result in rain chances becoming more minimal along with temperatures inching upward. Daytime readings should reach the upper 80s Friday and Saturday and near 90° Sunday into Monday. Overnights will be warm and muggy, with lows in the upper 60s to near 70°.
