Becoming partly sunny this morning with a few areas of patchy fog. Temperatures will start in the 50s and rise to near 71° by 10am and around 76° by noon.
We’ve enjoyed lots of sunshine and pleasantly warm readings to open up Autumn, but some changes are coming. A storm system moving out of the Plains and into the lower Ohio Valley will bring increased cloud cover today. Some light rain showers could develop by afternoon with rainfall coverage likely to pick up tonight. A few thunderstorms are also possible, but nothing severe. Highs will reach the upper 70s with warmer lows in the lower 60s tonight.
SUNSHINE COME BACK:
After an unsettled midweek, nice weather resumes Thursday and should last into the first half of the upcoming weekend. It will be warmer, with highs in the lower to mid 80s and lows mainly in the 60s.
Sunday brings us a good chance for showers and thunderstorms followed by a cooldown behind a front. Highs drop into the 70s with lows falling into the 50s.
