MORNING NOWCAST:
Cloudy with occasional light rain showers and sprinkles.

WET INTO WEDNESDAY (AND COOLER):
A cold front has arrived, spreading numerous showers into South-Central KY. Rain chances stay quite high as the front will be slow to clear the region. With northwest winds taking over, highs will only top out in the mid 60s, about 10 degrees cooler than Tuesday. It will be much cooler tonight as well with lows dropping into the upper 40s with a few showers still possible.

COOL READINGS HANG AROUND:
The cool air arriving today finds a home in the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys through early next week. There’s a slight chance for a shower Thursday with Friday looking dry. Highs stay in the 60s with chilly overnight lows in the lower 40s. A few outlying sections could even wake up to upper 30s Friday morning!

10K CLASSIC WEEKEND:
At this time, it appears dry for the annual running of the Medical Center 10K Classic Saturday morning. There will be a few more clouds as a weak cold front delivers a reinforcing shot of cooler air. Highs stay in the 60s with chilly lows in the lower 40s.
