MORNING NOWCAST:
Sunshine will give way to increasing clouds and warm breezes.
8am: Partly Sunny 57°
10am: Partly Sunny 62°

A WINDY AND WET WEDNESDAY:
A storm system approaching from the Plains will cause clouds to thicken this morning. Rain will develop during the afternoon, overspreading much of the area by evening. Along with this rain will come strong south to southwest winds, gusting to near 30 mph at times. Highs will top out in the upper 60s to near 70. Rain showers continue tonight before tapering off from west to east very early Thursday morning. Most places should pick up anywhere from one-quarter to one half inch of rain from this system with a few areas east of I-65 possibly picking up near an inch. Readings will bottom out in the low 40s Thursday morning.

LATE WEEK COOLDOWN:
We dry out by Thursday afternoon, with no mention of rain through Veterans’ Day (Monday). It will be quite cool to close out the week before some moderation takes place with our temperatures late in the period. Our next chance for showers shows up late Tuesday.
