STILL COLD:
Arctic air has settled into South-Central Kentucky! Daytime readings only made it into the upper 30s to lower 40s Tuesday with very cold wind chills. We’re waking to our coldest temperatures of the season in the lower 20s, although a few places could see the mercury dip into the upper teens! Today will be a nice-looking but chilly day with highs only in the mid 40s. Another clear, cold, frosty night is on the way tonight.

LATE WEEK WARMING:
A warming trend gets underway Thursday, one that will last into the upcoming weekend. With fair skies, highs return to the 50s Thursday and Friday with milder overnight readings.

THE WEEKEND:
Saturday and Sunday look warmer but unsettled. Moisture returns late Saturday as a storm system approaches from the west. This brings shower chances back to the forecast, with even a chance for thunderstorms Sunday into Monday. Another shot of unseasonably cold, arctic air arrives Tuesday.

TONIGHT:
Mainly Clear and Cold…Low 24, winds S-6
