After a nice but nippy Tuesday, temperatures should climb back to near seasonal levels for midweek. A cold start will be followed by a mild afternoon with a good dose of sun expected. Highs will reach the upper 50s, with milder lows tonight thanks to a south wind and some clouds.
THE WEEK ENDS WET:
A storm system organizing over the Plains Thursday advances eastward into our region Friday. Thursday itself looks dry before a few showers become possible overnight Thursday into Friday morning. Look for rain to increase in coverage Friday into Friday night. No severe weather is anticipated, but some of the rain could be fairly heavy before it moves out Saturday afternoon. Highs reach the lower 60s Thursday and again Friday.
COLDEST AIR YET:
Another blast of cold, arctic air arrives this weekend! Readings tumble into the 40s for highs Saturday before plunging into the 20s Saturday night. The motherlode of the air mass arrives Sunday, with daytime highs not likely to get out of the 30s! Some moderation takes place early Thanksgiving week, but it stays quite cold for November standards. There’s even a slight chance for some wet snow mixed with rain next Tuesday.
