The first week of December will feature temperatures near or above average for both highs and lows. A weak disturbance slides through today with little more than a slight chance for a shower or light drizzle. Tuesday looks dry before rain chances ramp up late Wednesday through Friday as a storm system enters the region. Heavy rain is possible Thursday. Highs climb to the mid 60s Wednesday before colder air pours back in toward the end of the week. There looks to be a change over to wintry mix/snow late in the day Friday colder air arrives. The timing, track and temperature of this system will have much to do with what kind of precipitation we get. Stay connected to WBKO for the latest on the next winter system.
COLD NEXT WEEKEND?
The late week winter system will be cold and blustery as temperatures climb only into the mid 30s Saturday with breezy north winds. This will mean cold conditions for all Christmas parades on Saturday. Cold air remains for Sunday a second round of winter weather possible.
