WIND CHILL ADVISORY until noon Thursday for Christian, Hopkins, McLean, Muhlenberg and Todd counties. Sub-zero wind chills are likely tonight and Thursday.

MORNING NOWCAST:
Mainly clear and very cold with light and variable winds.
8am: Sunny 18°

STAYING IN THE FREEZER:
Arctic air returned to the region along with some snow Tuesday. The snow has moved out, but the cold is here to stay! After a frigid morning with temperatures in the single digits to near 10, highs today will only make it into the upper 20s to around 30, even with a fair amount of sunshine and a light southwest wind.

Another arctic cold front slides through late tonight. While this one does not look to bring us any snow, it will reinforce the very cold air already in place. Highs Thursday will struggle just to make it into the upper teens, with bitterly cold overnight lows in the single digits!

SLIGHT WEEKEND WARMUP:
More seasonal air returns Saturday and Sunday, with a slight chance for a little light snow Saturday morning. The warmup won’t last, though. More very cold air is set to arrive early next week, along with a chance for a little light snow Monday.
