TRAVELERS ADVISORY for much of South-Central KY until 9am

EARLY MORNING NOWCAST:
Light snow showers will gradually diminish toward daybreak. Many roads will remain slick and hazardous into the morning hours.
6am: Mainly Cloudy 23°
8am: Mainly Cloudy 23°
10am: Mainly Cloudy 23°

QUIET BUT COLD:
Overcast skies, chilly temperatures and a few flurries will hold on today. Watch for slick snow and ice covered roadways – especially those that are untreated. Highs will only reach the upper 20s with lows tonight in the teens. We may see a little more sunshine Friday, but we will stay cold with highs in the upper 20s once again.

A LITTLE SNOW FOR THE WEEKEND?:
Our next weather maker – a weak one – could bring us a round of light snow Saturday with a few flurries possible into Sunday. At this time, any snow amounts appear very minor. Highs climb into the upper 30s Saturday before going back below freezing Sunday.

NO BIG WARMUP IN SIGHT:
Temperatures will remain well below early February normals into next week. Monday looks dry before our next system arrives Tuesday into Wednesday. Snow is possible Tuesday with a chance of rain for midweek.
