EARLY MORNING NOWCAST:
Variable clouds and very cold.
6am: Partly Cloudy 12°
8am: Partly Cloudy 16°
10am: Partly Cloudy 21°

STILL COLD:
We had a very cold night as temperatures dropped into the teens along with enough wind to cause bitter wind chills in the single digits to near zero. At least our weather stays quiet with fair to partly cloudy skies today. Highs will climb to near 30 with lows dropping back into the teens tonight.

A WELCOME WARMUP!
A big winter storm will move out of the Tennessee Valley and into the Carolinas late Tuesday into Wednesday, narrowly missing South-Central KY. A little light snow is possible east of Bowling Green toward Lake Cumberland Wednesday, but at this time, nothing significant is expected. We’re still chilly Wednesday, but we should finally warm into the 40s Thursday and Friday. Another weak disturbance will give us a chance for a little light rain or light snow Friday night.

BACK ABOVE NORMAL:
It appears we may put together consecutive days with readings above average to close out the forecast period! Highs jump from the 40s Saturday into the 50s Sunday and Monday. There is a slight chance for a little rain or light snow Saturday evening, with another slight chance for a shower Monday.

TODAY:
Mostly Sunny, Chilly…High 31, winds NE-9

TONIGHT:
Mostly Cloudy and Cold…Low 20, winds NE-3

WEDNESDAY:
Mainly Cloudy, Chance of Flurries…High 38, winds N-6
Snow Chance 20%
