MUCH WARMER LATE WEEK:
It took some time, but after a Wednesday morning filled with freezing fog and low clouds, we finally got in on some late day sun in Bowling Green. That helped warm temperatures above freezing, melting some of the snow/ice. The warming trend, along with more melting, continues today. We may start the day with some fog/freezing fog once again with black ice possible on some roadways with readings into the 20s. With lots of sun by late morning and afternoon, however, we should warm into the upper 40s to near 50. Those temperatures should melt most of the remaining snow and ice. Lows tonight drop back into the upper 20s, with patchy fog once again possible. Friday looks like the pick of the week, with more sunshine and highs close to 60!
SPRING AHEAD WEEKEND:
A weak weather maker slides in Saturday night, bringing just a slight chance for rain showers perhaps mixed with wet snow. We’ll dry out Sunday into Monday, with highs remaining seasonable in the 50s to lower 60s. We look dry into midweek at this time.
