It was a nice-looking, yet nippy Monday but things turn even colder today! A cold front moves through serving to reinforce the chilly air already in place. It also brings us a chance for a mix of rain/snow showers but no snow accumulation is expected. The cold winds will be the bigger story! Readings will struggle to crack the 40 degree mark as blustery northwest winds will make it feel like the 20s most of the day! Skies clear out tonight setting us up for a very cold start to Wednesday. Overnight lows will plunge into the upper teens to lower 20s.
LATE WEEK WARMUP:
The chill lingers into Wednesday, although a warming trend will be underway. Highs climb into the upper 40s Wednesday before reaching near 60 Thursday as a breezy southwest wind takes over. Our next system arrives Thursday night into Friday, with a good chance for showers and a few thunderstorms. Daytime readings should be back to near normal levels for late March come Friday.
It looks like March goes out like a lamb, not to mention much warmer. Highs climb from the low 60s Saturday into the low 70s Monday, with milder overnight lows. At this time, the weekend looks dry, as does Monday.
