Temperatures look to stay above average (65°) for much of the work week.

NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
A clear and chilly start followed by abundant sunshine.
6am: Clear 33°
8am: Sunny 41°
10am: Sunny 55°

LIKE A LAMB:
March will leave us on a tranquil note with a sunny sky and warmer temperatures today. Highs will reach into the low 70s across South Central Kentucky. A weak disturbance will move in overnight which could provide a few sprinkles but the chance is very small and most areas will likely stay dry. No foolin’, more nice weather is on tap for Tuesday and much of Wednesday with highs in the low to mid 70s and overnight lows in the low 50s.

APRIL SHOWERS:
Our next storm system moves into the region late Wednesday bringing only scattered showers at first. But by Thursday, rain is likely along with periods of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some heavy downpours are possible. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s until a cold front passes through on Friday morning which will bring an end to the rain and usher in cooler temperatures.

THE WEEKEND:
It will be cooler – not colder for the upcoming weekend. Expect a sunny day Saturday with highs in the low 60s. Even cooler Sunday with a slight chance of showers.

TODAY:
Mostly Sunny, Warmer… High 72, winds S-10

TONIGHT:
Cloudy, Chance of Sprinkles… Low 50, winds S-5

TUESDAY:
Mostly Sunny, Breezy…High 73, winds SW-11
