SOME RAIN FRIDAY:
Our next weather-maker arrives this morning in the form of a weak cold front. We’ll have chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms to close out the work week, although not everyone will see rain. Highs will be cooler but should still reach the low 70s. Rain ends tonight with lows in the lower 50s.
At this time, the weekend appears mainly dry and sunny before rain chances return late Sunday night. It will be quite warm, with afternoon highs climbing from the mid 70s Saturday to near 80 Sunday.
Monday looks wet with numerous showers and thunderstorms likely. Temperatures will turn much cooler early next week, with highs falling back into the low 50s Tuesday. There could be some concern for frost toward the middle of next week, as lows dip into the mid 30s. Some warming is forecast late in the period.
