NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Partly cloudy and mild.
6am: Partly Cloudy 48°
8am: Partly Cloudy 53°
10am: Partly Cloudy 62°
We had no problem getting back into the 60s Thursday thanks to more sunshine and a light southerly breeze. The warming trend continues for Good Friday despite some morning clouds with a weak front clipping through the region. Outside of a remote chance for an isolated shower over mainly western sections, we look to stay dry through the day. Highs climb into the upper 60s to near 70 as morning clouds give way to more sun as the day progresses. Tonight’s lows will be seasonably mild, dropping into the upper 40s.
EASTER HOLIDAY WEEKEND:
Both Saturday and Easter Sunday will be spectacular for any outdoor activities such as cookouts, Easter egg hunts and sunrise services. Highs will warm into the mid 70s Saturday before climbing into the upper 70s Easter Sunday. Lows will moderate into the low to mid 50s.
A few showers will move through Monday and Tuesday along with a rumble of thunder or two. Daytime readings hold in the 70s early next week before jumping into the low 80s toward the end of the period.
