SOME RAIN THEN COOLER:
Rain showers end from west to east this morning with some sun returning in the afternoon. Breezy northwest winds behind the cold front will bring cooler air into the region. Highs will top out around 70. As skies clear tonight, readings drop into the upper 30s to near 40 for most. A little patchy frost is possible in sheltered spots mainly east of Bowling Green, but nothing widespread. Wednesday features fair skies and highs in the upper 60s.
ANOTHER SHOT FOR SHOWERS:
We warm back up Thursday before our next system arrives Thursday night with a good chance for showers and thunderstorms. Highs Thursday will top out near 80 with Friday looking warm and dry.
EARLY LOOK AT THE WEEKEND:
Seasonable temperatures are expected Saturday into Sunday, with a chance for rain to close out the weekend into Monday. A stalled front will cause several rounds of rain which could lead to some minor flooding.
