Big, Nasty System Finally Pulls Away

NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Showers move east, clearing skies to the west.
6am: Partly Cloudy 54°
8am: Mostly Clear 55°
10am: Mostly Sunny 60°

FINALLY SETTLING DOWN:
We’ll see some sunshine return this morning with just a slight chance for a renegade shower to our east. Look for a mix of sun and clouds for the afternoon. Highs will be somewhat cooler, topping out in the upper 60s to near 70°.

COOL LATE WEEK:
Temperatures stay below normal Thursday into Friday with partly to mostly cloudy skies both days. There is a slight chance for a light shower Friday. Highs will be in the mid 60s with lows in the 40s.

DERBY WEEKEND:
It looks beautiful for Saturday and Sunday with a warming trend getting underway! The weather looks fine for not only the Kentucky Derby but also the Mini-Corvette Challenge on Saturday. Afternoon readings climb back into the 70s. More warming is in store early next week, with highs soaring into the 80s.
