A TASTE OF SUMMER:
Unseasonably warm weather hangs on through midweek! Plenty of sunshine does as well. Morning lows will be mild, only dropping into the upper 50s to lower 60s. Afternoon highs will surge into the mid and upper 80s through Thursday. These are temperatures more typical of mid June rather than early May.

STORMY END OF THE WEEK:
Conditions turn unsettled beginning late Thursday night through the weekend. Showers and thunderstorms are likely Friday into Saturday as our next system arrives. At this time, severe weather potential appears small but heavy rainfall looks possible to close out the week. A continued chance for scattered showers and storms lingers Sunday (Mother’s Day) into Monday. Highs dip into the 70s early in the weekend before rising back into the low 80s early next week.
