BREEZY, WARM AND HUMID:
Temperatures made it back into the 80s for the first time in a week on Election Day. We’ll remain quite warm today with more breezy southwest winds. Under a mix of sun and clouds, highs should climb into the mid 80s with a few places south and west of Bowling Green possibly reaching the upper 80s. Humidity will be noticeably higher as well. A few storms may develop north of the parkways this afternoon – a few of which could be strong.
TURNING SLIGHTLY COOLER:
Our next frontal system eases southward from out of the Midwest Thursday morning. This gives us a decent chance for scattered showers and storms during that period. A few storms may be strong over Southern Kentucky where a SLIGHT RISK for severe storms exists. Readings stay quite warm before backsliding a bit beginning Thursday. The work week ends on a dry and seasonable note Friday.
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND:
At this time, the upcoming holiday weekend appears nice and dry. We’ll see a warming trend, with highs climbing from the low 80s Saturday into the upper 80s Monday. We may even flirt with 90 Tuesday!
