RAIN CHANCES INCREASE:
A slow-moving low over the Deep South will join forces with a weak cold front sliding down from the Great Lakes to bring us good chances for showers and storms today. Locally heavy rainfall and frequent lightning are possible with the strongest storms. It stays warm and humid with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Chances for showers and storms continue tonight into Friday morning before somewhat drier air pushes in Friday evening. Highs will stay in the mid 80s Friday.

THE WEEKEND AND EARLY NEXT WEEK:
We may catch a break in the unsettled weather Saturday behind a weak cold front pushing through before humidity climbs again early next week. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible Sunday through Wednesday. Daytime highs will stay in the mid to upper 80s.
