Summer-like Weather Continues

May30trend

NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Warm and humid with isolated showers and thunderstorms.
6am: Partly Cloudy, Isolated Showers 69°
8am: Partly Cloudy, Isolated Showers 73°
10am: Partly Sunny, Isolated Showers 79°

WORK WEEK WRAP-UP:
More scattered showers and storms across South Central Kentucky yet again as a weak cold front slides through to our south today. Any stronger storms could bring heavy downpours, frequent lightning and gusty winds, mainly during the afternoon. Temps top out in the mid 80s and lows stay very mild in the upper 60s.

THE WEEKEND AND WEEK AHEAD:
Drier and less humid air slides in behind the front just in time for the weekend. Saturday is looking mostly rain-free (with the exception of an isolated late-day shower) and very warm with highs in the upper 80s. More humid conditions come back around along with scattered showers and storms Sunday as highs get closer to the 90 mark. The afternoon/evening “hit and miss” shower and storm pattern returns for much of next week as temps stay just above average.
