Severe Weather Threat Wednesday

June3severe

NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Look for a mix of sun and clouds with areas of patchy fog.
6am: Partly Cloudy 71°
8am: Partly Cloudy 74°
10am: Partly Cloudy 78°

STAYING UNSETTLED:
Little change to the ongoing forecast as we will continue to see a chance of a shower or thunderstorm along with a mix of sun and clouds today…highs reach back into the mid 80s. We’ll see a short, quiet period of weather for much of Wednesday with mainly sunny skies and highs reaching into the upper 80s but…

SEVERE STORMS LATE WEDNESDAY:
A better chance for organized severe storms is possible Wednesday night as a storm complex develops and moves out of the Plains toward the Ohio Valley along with a cold front. This could produce widespread damaging wind and hail Wednesday night.

400 MILE YARD SALE WEEKEND:
One of Kentucky’s largest yard sales across US 68 will be affected by chances for a few showers and thunderstorms – although, much of Saturday looks rain-free and ideal for your hidden treasure hunting.
