It will be another warm and muggy day across South Central Kentucky as southerly breezes keep moisture pumping into the region. We will see a mix of sun and clouds today with highs reaching into the mid to upper 80s.
SEVERE STORMS TONIGHT:
A better chance for organized severe storms is possible tonight as strong storms develop along a cold front. Widespread damaging wind, hail, torrential downpours are likely as the storm roll south this evening. There is potential for isolated tornadoes and localized flooding as well. A few storms may hang around early Thursday before skies clear. Much of Thursday will be partly sunny, a little cooler and less humid.
400 MILE YARD SALE WEEKEND:
One of Kentucky’s largest yard sales across US 68 will be affected by chances for a few showers and thunderstorms. The better chance will come Saturday night and Sunday as another disturbance passes through the region.
It will be slightly cooler Monday with highs only near 80° with a slight chance of a late day shower Tuesday.
