NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Fair with a few high clouds.
6am: Mainly Clear 73°
8am: Mainly Clear 78°
10am: Mainly Sunny 86°

THE HEAT IS ON:
Our first heat wave of the season is in full swing! Temperatures made it back into the 90s for a second straight day Tuesday and it looks as if we’ll make it three in a row today. A few locations picked up a bit of rain thanks to some very isolated thundershowers Tuesday afternoon. Such may be the case again today. Highs will top out in the low 90s, although heat indices could edge into the upper 90s for awhile in the afternoon. Keep yourself hydrated while working outside.

BETTER RAIN CHANCES:
An approaching disturbance will begin to touch off a chance of mainly late day scattered showers/storms starting Thursday. The possibilities for scattered showers and thunderstorms increase a bit over the weekend into early next week. This could take the edge off the heat a bit, with highs forecast to drop into the mid to upper 80s early next week.
