NICE THROUGH FRIDAY:
Slightly cooler and less humid air has filtered into South-Central Kentucky which will lead to some great weather today and Friday. Expect lots of sunshine both days with afternoon readings warm but not too hot in the upper 80s. Overnight lows will be cooler and not too muggy, dropping into the low to mid 60s.
The heat and humidity typical of mid-July return for Saturday and Sunday. This will result in hazy sunshine along with slight chances for a few pop-up thundershowers both days (mainly in the afternoon/early evening). Highs will reach the lower 90s.
A BIG CHANGE:
A cold front is forecast to sweep through the area early next week. This will bring decent chances for showers and storms Monday and Tuesday followed by a big cool down by midweek. Highs drop from the low 90s Monday into the refreshing upper 70s by Wednesday!
