A STORMY START:
A cold front is forecast to sweep through the region as we start the new week. This will bring some much needed rain but also a SLIGHT RISK for severe weather across the entire region. Some storms could be strong to severe this afternoon/evening with damaging wind, localized flooding, and large hail the main threats.

OCTOBER IN JULY?
The cold front will be followed by an Arctic high pressure that will take over starting Tuesday. Unseasonably cooler, drier air will cover the Ohio Valley for the rest of the work week with highs 10-15 degrees cooler than average! Lots of sunshine will prevail through Thursday until a new system brings a chance of a shower popping up at some point during the course of the upcoming weekend.
