NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Mainly clear and mild with patchy fog possible.
6am: Mostly Clear 71°
8am: Mostly Clear 76°
10am: Mostly Sunny 84°
The heat and humidity has returned to south central Kentucky. Temps will be in the low 90s today with “feels like” temps in the upper 90s at times. Stay hydrated if outdoors for an extended period of time. Rain chances look slim other than a pop-up shower/storm with daytime heat and humidity as a ridge of high pressure stretches across the region. Wednesday will be very hot and humid as well before a cold front brings temps down for the latter half of the week.
…THEN UNSEASONABLY COOL
A cold front slides through the region Wednesday afternoon bringing a chance of showers and storms. There is a possibility of some strong storms with gusty winds and heavy rainfall. Scattered showers and storms likely Wednesday night into Thursday. Temps take an unseasonably cool dip into the low to mid 80s before more rain chances come our way for the weekend.
