Rain Chances Not That Impressive

Aug1pops

NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Mainly fair with clouds increasing from the west.
6am: Partly Cloudy 62°
8am: Partly Cloudy 70°
10am: Partly Cloudy 80°

SMALL RAIN CHANCES:
A weak disturbance moves into the lower Ohio Valley today through Saturday. This gives us only slight chances for mainly scattered, late-day showers and thunderstorms. Rain chances dwindle Sunday with a slight chance mainly east as the weak weathermaker heads out. Highs will range from the mid to upper 80s with milder overnight lows in the 60s.

MORE SEASONABLE NEXT WEEK:
While we’re not looking at extreme heat or humidity, we are expecting temperatures more typical of mid-summer to return early next week. Highs will climb to near 90 each day with lows in the mid 60s. Rain chances appear very slim early next week. The continued lack of rain will put us well over 6-inches below year-to-date average on annual rainfall.
