NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Mainly clear and mild.
6am: Mostly Clear 62°
8am: Mostly Clear 70°
10am: Mostly Sunny 81°
HOT AND DRY:
Today will be much like Sunday with lots of sunshine and warm readings in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. A few clouds may build into the afternoon but no rain is expected and our rainfall deficit is now approaching 6-inches below average. It will be hot and a little more humid for Tuesday with highs reaching into the low 90s.
SOME RAIN CHANCES:
An approaching boundary dropping out of the Great Lakes will meet up with Gulf moisture to provide us some relief from the dry weather of late. Starting Wednesday, we will see a daily chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms each day through Sunday. But as we have seen in times past, these will be your typical Summertime hit-n-miss, splash-n-dash variety providing a short-term fix for a long-term problem. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s through the period.
