NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Mainly clear with a few high clouds and patchy fog.
6am: Mostly Clear 66°
8am: Mostly Clear 72°
10am: Mostly Sunny 83°
HOT AND DRY:
No rain is expected again for today and our rainfall deficit is now approaching 6-inches below average. It will be hot and a little more humid with highs reaching into the low 90s.
BETTER RAIN CHANCES:
An approaching boundary dropping out of the Great Lakes will meet up with Gulf moisture to provide us some relief from the dry weather of late. Starting Wednesday, we will see a daily chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms each day through Monday. But as we have seen in times past, these will be your typical Summertime hit-n-miss, splash-n-dash variety providing a short-term fix for a long-term problem. The best chance for a few downpours will come Thursday and Friday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s through the period.
