A Labor Day Break from the Rain

Sept1blog

NOWCAST THROUGH LATE MORNING:
Partly cloudy with areas of fog. A few showers possible west of I-65.
6am: Partly Cloudy 71°
8am: Partly Cloudy, Isolated Showers 75°
10am: Partly Cloudy, Isolated Showers 82°

THREE-DAY WEEKEND:
After a holiday weekend with flooding rains, we’re looking at a better chance for a holiday break. Labor Day will be the best day overall for outdoor activities. Expect more sunshine and a small chance for just a few isolated showers and thunderstorms. Hot and humid as highs jump back near 90 to close out the holiday weekend.

SEPTEMBER STARTS SOGGY:
Unsettled weather continues for much of the work week with a good chance for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday – some could be strong with the potential for more heavy rainfall. Scattered shower chances will continue Wednesday through Friday with highs in the muggy upper 80s and low 90s.

CHANGES COMING:
Another cold front will pass through on Saturday bringing showers and thunderstorms. However, the front clears on Sunday and ushers in a cooler, less-humid airmass for the start of next week with highs falling into the low 80s.
