A slight risk of severe storms is possible across all of the WBKO viewing area today and tonight. A disturbance moving across the region has already touched off a few strong storms this morning – a few of which produced hail and gusty winds. Any thunderstorms that develop today and tonight may produce heavy rain, damaging winds and large hail. The greater tornado threat is in Western Kentucky.
More thunderstorms are on tap for Tuesday. We get a brief break on Wednesday before several more disturbances move through keeping a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the forecast from Thursday all the way through the weekend. Highs will range from the mid to upper 60s to mid 70s throughout the period.
