RAINY AT TIMES:
Thursday marked the start of an unsettled weather pattern that will last several more days. Another wave of energy riding along a stalled-out front will lead to more showers and thunderstorms today. Locally heavy rainfall is possible. Showery weather continues for the high school football games tonight. Highs will reach the mid 70s with lows dropping back into the low 50s tonight.
Chances for rain on a periodic basis will continue Saturday into Sunday. Rainfall coverage over the weekend will be highly determined by where the front passing through tonight stalls. The highest rain chances appear to be Sunday. Highs Saturday will top out in the cool mid 60s before jumping back into the 70s to close out the weekend.
Our weather stays active through Tuesday. A more potent storm system arrives early next week with more potential for heavy rain and a greater threat for strong storms. We’ll finally dry out Wednesday into Thursday. Highs drop from near 80 Monday into the 60s by midweek.
