What once was a Freeze Watch has now become a Freeze Warning for the entire WBKO viewing area beginning tonight and running through Sunday morning. While clouds and light precipitation will keep a hard freeze from settling in tonight, a killing freeze is likely early Sunday morning as skies clear and temperatures fall into the mid to upper 20s. This will put an end to the growing season.

Our in-house computer guidance suggests some minor snow accumulations with higher elevation east of the I-65 corridor tonight - mainly wet, slushy snow that may accumulate on grassy areas.

Snow chances have come up a bit but with a warm ground and surfaces, mainly grassy areas east of I-65 could see minor snow accumulation late tonight. Better snow chances will be found along and east of I-75 in the higher elevations of east-central and eastern Kentucky.
