WORK WEEK WARMUP:
The ridge of high pressure that brought us sunshine and chilly readings for Sunday will move east today allowing a warmer, southwest wind flow to take over. This will help temperatures rise into the low to mid 60s this afternoon and only dip into the mid 40s tonight. Winds will be breezy at times at 15-25 mph during the afternoon.
As you head to the polls Tuesday, skies will be partly cloudy and there will be a warm breeze to start. Highs will reach around the average of 65° but clouds will be on the increase as the day wears on. A cold front will move in by Tuesday evening bringing a chance of rain showers.
COOLER AND UNSETTLED:
As the cold front stalls over the region, several disturbances will bring rounds of showers for the end of the week and at various times through the upcoming weekend. Each disturbance will usher in cooler temps with highs falling into the 50s and lows in the 30s through the period.
