A FEW WARMER DAYS:

TEMPS PLUNGE, ARCTIC AIR ARRIVES!
We will stay warm into Veterans’ Day (Tuesday) but a sharp cold front is expected to arrive late Tuesday. With it comes a good chance for light rain showers followed by a blast of cold arctic air…likely our coldest of the season so far! Highs plunge from the mid 60s Tuesday and dive into the mid 30s Tuesday night. With a cold north wind on Wednesday, highs will struggle to reach into the mid and upper 40s while overnight lows fall off into the mid to upper 20s!
While it will be mainly dry through the period, temperatures will run 20-25° below average for this time of year with highs in the 30s, lows in the 20s with the possibility of a few upper teens Thursday night!
A storm system will approach the region by Saturday evening with mainly a chance of rain as highs will be in the low 40s. Lows will drop to around freezing (32°) Saturday night which could change the rain over to light snow but confidence is not very high at this point for accumulation. Any snow would change back to rain by Sunday morning.
